How AI credits work
A one-line question and a request that pulls ten reports cost very different amounts to run, so AI is metered in credits rather than messages. Every request uses credits for the tokens it actually uses, with a minimum of one.
- Credits come per full user each month and are pooled across your account, for every organisation in it. Light users draw from the pool.
- One pool covers the assistant, report questions and AI document import.
- Top up with packs of 1,000 credits for $10. We warn you at 80% of your pool; at 100% AI pauses unless automatic top-up is on, and everything else keeps working.
- On Enterprise, use your own AI: your provider's API key or a model running on your own servers, with no credits charged.
